A Season Defined by Art, Commitment, and International Events

A month ago, Momentum Art Gallery closed the exhibition of Andrea Roggi, a significant moment for the gallery and for the city of Nice. Since September 15, 2024, his monumental works had been part of the Nice landscape, featuring 5-meter-tall bronze olive trees. These works made a lasting impression and temporarily transformed the urban space. While several of these pieces have now returned to Italy, Momentum Art Gallery is not slowing down and is preparing for a particularly intense period.

The Momentum Festival: An Artistic Event Every Weekend

Momentum Art Gallery is actively preparing the Momentum Festival, an ambitious project that will host a new event every weekend, spotlighting artists we exhibit. This format, designed to provide new visibility for the talents we support, will offer visitors a regular immersion into strong and unique artistic worlds. The Momentum Festival aligns with the gallery's desire to diversify artistic experiences and strengthen the connection between the public and the artists we care about.

“The Sails of the Ocean”: A Committed Exhibition in Resonance with the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference

Momentum Art Gallery will also follow the rhythm of Nice’s current events in June by participating in the United Nations Ocean Conference, to be held in Nice, with a powerful and committed exhibition: “The Sails of the Ocean.” Through this exhibition, the gallery will explore the beauty of the seas while highlighting issues related to marine pollution and the fragility of ecosystems.

The event will be led by Mauro Mogliani, an artist whose committed and dreamlike works offer a striking perspective on our relationship with the oceans. He will be accompanied by two local sculptors from Nice, Bertrand Boutin and Bernard Conforti, whom we are pleased to host and whose work resonates with this theme. The exhibition will also include wall projections, offering an enhanced visual and sensory immersion into the marine world.

A Spring Marked by Major Events

If this programming is already shaping up to be intense, Momentum Art Gallery also aims to capitalize on the dynamism of May and June, which coincide with two major events: the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. These events attract an international audience, art and culture enthusiasts, and allow us to integrate our programming into this dynamic. Momentum is thus reflecting on the best way to incorporate these events into its calendar, to capture this energy and offer an artistic experience in line with the excitement of the French Riviera during this time.
