Yoon's

Biography

Yoons, whose real name is Yoni Lallouche, is a French contemporary artist whose work explores the relationship between imagery, movement, and perception.

A self-taught artist, he has developed a distinctive artistic universe at the intersection of visual art and new technologies. Initially influenced by Pop Art and its references to popular culture, he gradually evolved towards a more experimental approach, placing movement and interaction at the heart of his practice.

This exploration led him to lenticular art, a technique that allows images to transform depending on the viewer's angle of observation. His works go beyond the traditional boundaries of static imagery, offering an evolving visual experience in which every movement reveals a new perspective.

A New Perception of the Image

With his Chromatic Faces collection, Yoons establishes his artistic identity through a series of lenticular portraits exploring duality, emotions, and the many facets of human identity.

The faces transform as viewers move, gradually revealing different expressions and interpretations. Each artwork can never be fully experienced from a single viewpoint: it invites the viewer to move, observe, and discover the multiple dimensions of a single image.

Where Art Meets the Digital World

Embracing a distinctly contemporary approach, Yoons also connects some of his physical creations to the digital world through a concept known as phygital art.

The integration of QR codes providing access to NFTs makes it possible to associate artworks with digital certificates of authenticity. This digital dimension extends his artistic practice beyond the physical medium, creating a connection between traditional artistic practices and emerging technologies.

An Ever-Evolving Artistic Experience

Through his creations, Yoons reimagines the relationship between the artwork and its viewer. The spectator becomes an active participant in the artistic experience, with their movements directly influencing how the image is perceived.

Combining optical illusions, vibrant colours, and visual transformations, Yoons develops an artistic language in which nothing remains static and every perspective reveals a new reality.
