Antonio Segui

Antonio Seguí is an artist and collector, born January 11, 1934, in Córdoba, Argentina.

Coming from a family of wealthy traders, he lives and works between France and Argentina.

Prolific artist, painter, sculptor, engraver, illustrator, the artist constantly going from one to the other, he is also a collector of Primitive Art. Antonio Seguí represented Argentina at the Paris Biennale in 1963. Often associated with the Narrative Figuration movement, he describes himself as an independent artist.

Very well known in Latin America, his work was revealed in Europe at the 3rd Paris Biennale in 1963. Exhibitions in the largest museums in the world followed.

A retrospective of his works on paper was dedicated to him in 2005 at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris.
