Momentum Art Gallery Makes Its Mark on the Contemporary Art Scene with a Triumphant Opening in Nice and a New Launch in Paris
For its September 2024 reopening, Momentum Art Gallery has reached a decisive turning point in its ascent in the contemporary art market in Nice. Located on the Côte d'Azur and the Belgian coast in Knokke, the gallery garnered attention during the opening of Italian artist Andrea Roggi's exhibition on September 13.
Discovered seven years ago, Andrea Roggi was the star of this inaugural evening, where his exhibition titled "AGAPE: A Love Can Change the World" received an enthusiastic response from the public. In partnership with the city of Nice, five of his monumental works are currently displayed along an outdoor discovery route on the Promenade des Anglais, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Andrea Roggi's artistic universe throughout the city.
This exceptional evening brought together several local personalities, including Anthony Borré, the Deputy Mayor of Nice, and Robert Roux, the cultural deputy. The two officials praised the cultural and emotional significance of the event. In a speech that received applause from the audience, Mr. Borré emphasized that “Art is always there to provoke a feeling, to awaken an emotion, and to invite reflection.”
Already well-established in Nice on the Côte d'Azur and in Belgium, Momentum Art Gallery is now expanding its influence to Paris. The gallery will soon open a space in the French capital, offering Parisian art lovers the chance to discover a curated selection of exclusive works.
This expansion reflects Momentum Art Gallery’s growing ambition to make contemporary art accessible to a broader audience while continuing to support renowned artists such as Andrea Roggi, Patrick Rubinstein, Charles Fazzino, Nadia Cascini, and David Gerstein or Antoine Dufilho.
