Véronique Ziminski

Biography

Of Polish and Franche-Comté origin, Véronique Ziminski has been living in Haute-Savoie for over 30 years. However, it is in the heart of Provence, a land rich in light and color, where her artistic career truly took off. Nothing seemed to suggest that Véronique would pursue an artistic career. After obtaining her high school diploma at 16 and a master’s degree in management at 21, she began a professional career in business management—a well-charted path... until one rainy afternoon when she picked up a pencil and started drawing out of pure curiosity. This became a decisive turning point in her life.

Her husband, moved by the beauty and spontaneity of her drawings and recognizing a true potential, encouraged her relentlessly to develop her talent.

For over 10 years, Véronique Ziminski juggled between her professional responsibilities and her growing passion for art. Over time, her works began to attract more attention in various art exhibitions. She received multiple accolades for her creations, which captivated the eye with their vitality, luminosity, and originality.

In 2000, after years of hard work, the true recognition came: Véronique Ziminski began exhibiting in prestigious art galleries. This marked her rise to international recognition on the global art scene.

Her canvases, often inspired by the landscapes of Provence, the southern light, and the Mediterranean Sea, have won the hearts of art lovers worldwide. The azure sky of the Côte d'Azur, the Provençal light that transforms the landscapes at every hour of the day, and the contrasts between the deep blue of the sea and the yellow of the lavender fields are essential elements in her artistic expression.

Her paintings are equally inspired by the Provençal countryside, the great cities like Paris, and the gentle mountains of Haute-Savoie. This blend of genres and locations creates a rich and varied visual world where nature, light, and human emotions meet. The vineyards of Provence, the century-old olive trees, and the Mediterranean Sea emerge in her works, marked by warm, radiant colors that pay tribute to the natural beauty of southern France.

The artist loves capturing light in all its forms, whether it’s the sunlight filtering through the leaves of the Luberon’s umbrella pines, the vineyards bathed in late afternoon light, or the Cassis calanques that change colors at sunset. Her paintings tell stories and evoke emotions, as if each Provençal landscape were a human adventure—a meeting between art and nature.

Véronique Ziminski's vibrant and luminous works quickly captivated collectors and art enthusiasts around the world. Her exhibitions in Provence, as well as in Paris, across Europe, and beyond, have solidified her international reputation. She regularly participates in contemporary art fairs, where she exhibits her vibrant creations.
